Thursday August 20th saw the virtual premiere of the highly anticipated true crime drama film The Ravine. Based on the bestselling novel, the film featured important and relevant themes of grief, the power of choice, and how to handle chaos when it is thrown in your direction. Answering a number of questions, the film is especially relevant in today’s climate where the future holds so much uncertainty.

For the first time, buyers and distributors were able to stream the film from the comfort of their own living rooms and experience the intensity through their screens. Although this was an unusual way for buyers to decide on their actions, this viewing took place with great success.

The film features an all-star cast including Eric Dane (Euphoria, Grey’s Anatomy, Valentine’s Day), Teri Polo (Meet the Parents trilogy, The West Wing, I’m With Her), Peter Facinelli (Twilight series, Supergirl, Fast Lane), Leslie Uggams (Roots, Empire, Deadpool) and Bryon Mann (Skyscraper, The Big Short, Wu Assassins). The original score was also created by composer Ramin Djawadi best known for his work in Game of Thrones, Iron Man, West World, and Warcraft.

With an overwhelming response to the film, viewers are raving about Eric Dane’s performance and his ability to speak volumes with just one look. Dane is the master of capturing the audience’s attention and his talent is showcased tenfold throughout this one of a kind film.

Directed by the fabulous Keoni Waxman and produced by Phillip Goldfine, Robert Pascuzzi, and Kelly Pascuzzi, viewers were not disappointed.

The creation of The Ravine is thanks to Robert Pascuzzi who is the mastermind behind both the successful novel and film. The premise of the film is inspired by the true events of Pascuzzi’s own life and his journey towards acceptance after tragedy. Robert went from having no money in the bank – actually paying his mortgage with a credit card – to starting and building a 401(k) management division from zero dollars to more than $2.5 billion in assets under management (AUM) to help others like him find peace in their personal finances.

Viewers can expect to be instilled with a sense of inspiration and the promise that even after tragedy, life can continue to flourish and grow.

A powerful statement from the film is “The only limits in our life are those that we impose on ourselves”.

The Ravine has the ability to inspire audiences and encourage them to forgive and think positively when faced with the most difficult of circumstances.
