The American University of Management’s Application to Join ASIC UK has been Approved
Getting approval to become a member of the Accreditation Service for International Schools, College, & Universities is the dream of any institution that would like to gain recognition on a global level. This is the case with the American University of Management. The management school based out of West Covina, California, United States, has announced its membership approval to join the Accreditation Service for International Schools, College, & Universities (ASIC UK).
As AMU retrenches and moves forward with its new strategy, it was decided that new alliances were necessary to keep AMU up to date on changes in education. AMU intends to obtain several accreditations as part of their strategy, with the ASIC UK slated to be the first they will pursue. According to the ASIC UK website, “ASIC Membership can be the first step in the journey to full accreditation (Membership, Candidacy, Interim and then Full accreditation).”
The university does not intend to stop with being approved by the ASIC. It has contacted several accreditation agencies in the United States approved by the U.S. Department of Education and CHEA. American Management University has intentions to keep working aggressively to ensure they meet their goals so that their students can feel confident in the education and programs offered at the university.
American Management University is exempted by the BPPE to offer educational programs solely for the membership of a bona fide trade, business, professional, or fraternal organization. It has met the qualifications for exemption from regulation under the Act, under the California Education Code (CEC) section 94874 (b)(1). AMU is sponsored by the International Alliance of Business Professionals (IABP), U.S.U.S., a non-profit professional association.
