MCKRE Teams Up with Carteret County Habitat for Humanity
MCKRE Gives, the initiative responsible for handling the social contributions by Mary Cheatham King Real Estate, is devoted to supporting and helping local neighborhood non-profit organizations, corporations, and individuals who make a difference in Carteret County, North Carolina. In expansion to their hands-on-benefit, they give $100 from each closing to a local neighborhood non-profit or organization, in honor of their buyers and sellers.
On Lincoln Drive in Newport, North Carolina, one such family, the Jenkins, needed help to build the home of their dreams and provide stability for their four children. Throughout the month of September 2021, team members of Mary Cheatham King Real Estate were on the site of the Jenkin’s dream home for the 2nd Annual Habitat for Humanity Build’s project. Mary Cheatham King Real Estate, MCKRE, proved their dedication to supporting local non-profit organizations by helping the Jenkins family raise funds to build their house.
All set to make a difference, MCKRE Gives raised the funds from September 29th through September 30th, 2021. With the goal of reaching $3,000 over those 48 hours, the agency launched and marketed a GoFundMe campaign across Carteret County. MCKRE Gives was successful in raising $3,425 – to which they matched for a total of $6,850 – and made a lasting impact on the life of the Jenkins family.
With a rapport in the CSR world in Carteret County, MCKRE continues to donate $100 from each closing to a local non-profit or organization in honor of their buyers and sellers. The company wants to make sure it keeps giving back to the community and encourages people to reach out to them, so they may support them with the funds-match of which they are offering in their community initiative.
