Fashion Businesses Use Special Photography to Boost Sales
Fashion businesses are increasing their sales by 24% thanks to an Ontario photography and videography company.
StylePhotos have helped its customer reduce photography and video costs, increase the speed in which they receive ready to use marketing materials, improve consistency in their brand photography and increase their customers’ sales on average by 24%.
StylePhotos provides photography and video machines that don’t require photographers to produce flatbed, model, mannequin and 360 degree fashion and accessory shots.

StylePhotos has four different machines. ‘Live’ is a huge walk-in machine that allows companies to take photographs of large objects like mannequins or people modelling the clothes. Edited photos and videos are created in minutes for e-commerce sites, signage and social media.
‘Eclipse’ is designed to shoot smaller accessories like shoes or purses from all angles and to create different set designs and colors. Again, videos and still photography for all marketing channels is produced in minutes.
‘Horizontal’ allows products to be laid flat and photographed with or without backgrounds. This is used for fashion flat lay images or flat products.
Then there is ‘Alphashot’, which is a flat lay all in one photo studio for jewellery and watches. The machines take photographs and videos of highly reflective products from all angles.
The types of photography that are produced using this specialist kit include model photos, product shots, flat lay shots, ghost mannequins, Amazon photos, model videos, 360-degree model and mannequin videos and 3D photos.
“If customers have large amounts of stock they want to showcase in their marketing channels quickly, then this type of photography and video would work perfectly for them.
“It gives them the latest technology to produce highly professional imagery to their own specification and branding. They can change light or control shadow and save the settings to ensure consistency throughout their portfolio of images.
“This technology allows clients to produce four times the number of images than they could using a photographer and a much quicker turnaround of images, so they can have them on websites and social media channels quicker.
“It is a simple process, either the clients will drop off their products to us or we can pick them up. Or there is a possibility to rent our machines so clients can take control of the process of creating their image catalogue themselves, though this service is currently on hold due to COVID restrictions,” he added.
