ATLANTA & CHAMPAIGN – Some of the world’s most esteemed business leaders are working together to develop strategies and solutions to ensure the successful reopening and recovery of the American economy.

Jimmy John Liautaud, founder and former chairman of Jimmy John’s, has been featured on multiple forefronts, aiming towards a collaborative approach to supporting the American economy with his vast experience and knowledge within the food and beverage industry.

“The people that run the restaurants are going to adapt really quickly. And whatever the consumer demand is telling you, these small business owners will make those decisions, and they will adapt, and they will do what it is that the consumer wants it to do,” said Liautaud.

“That’s why the small business and free enterprise and the free market is so efficient. So, these small businesses will do what the customers want. If the consumer demands masks, if the consumer wants a screen, if the consumer wants spacing, they will provide spacing.”

Liautaud continued by adding “And they will do it before the government tells them to, because they’re pretty quick on their feet. So, it’s going to be what it is. It’s going to be awkward. It’s going to be uncomfortable. But they will adapt. And they are resilient and they will adapt to whatever it is that the consumer demands.

“Once our leaders give us the go ahead to reopen, Mom and Pop businesses will lead the way. When small town America wins, the United States of America wins!” – News Gazette

As more and more businesses shut down during the global coronavirus pandemic, Jimmy John’s has continued deliveries of their sandwiches. Recently introduced at specific Jimmy John’s franchises are free Little John sandwiches being given away to school-aged kids during the coronavirus pandemic. Jimmy John’s has also launched a new Freaky Fresh® Bread On Demand service in light of the substantial demand being placed on grocery stores to supply food to the public.
