Anouar Association Ait Faska during the Coronavirus Pandemic

Marrakech, Morocco – In the time of keeping pace with the new situation after the emergence of the Coronavirus pandemic, and after the implementation of the medical quarantine and precautionary measures to avoid the outbreak of the Corona Virus COVID 19, the Anouar Association for Development and Solidarity has worked since mid-March, date of the announcement of the community lockdown, to adapt all its activities and programs to the requirements of the new situation, where it postponed All urban activities that were scheduled during this period.

Anouar Association worked on remote work, where they launched the activities by investing in social media by broadcasting hashtags, videos, and advertisements to urge the inhabitants of Ait Faska to comply with and adhere to all the measures taken by the government and the competent authorities to avoid the catastrophe and contribute to its awareness and awareness through its distribution. Medical masks and some sterilization means. The association also sterilized some residential communities in the Ait Faska region (Takhrabint – Khumaymara – Dibu – Buya Abo) after providing sterile materials and means of sterilization.

During this period, the association worked on providing remote support lessons for elementary students, with two volunteers. The initiative was well received by the parents and guardians of the students.

Twenty-two students from the first and second year of the baccalaureate school will benefit from the support and strengthening lessons starting from the end of this month, and these lessons will be remotely taught by students from the National School of Trade and Management Marrakech.

And in this time, Anouar association arranged activities, in cooperation with the Arduino organization, for a group of young people to benefit from training classes in the field of their professions.

And culminating in the spirit of solidarity and support that our country has known under the pandemic and in fulfillment of the role that civil society is supposed to play in such difficult circumstances, the association carried out a fasting food campaign, as it has done every year during this holy month, by providing 720 food sets and the initiative started with the benefit of seventy widows, particularly the first batch of the program.

But after identifying the need for this subsidy and the high demand for support, especially in light of the quarantine, the society provided 650 sets that benefited from it in particular, the needy families and those with special needs, in addition to the daily workers who stopped working, and the initiative included dwyers: Karakor – Ait Al-Zawak – Aamiriya – Ait Wasco – Boubgila – Borkous – Ait Ben El-Zy. The operation was carried out with respect to all precautionary measures and the procedures used to sterilize the means of delivery, in addition to delivering assistance to each house separately.

All the activities that have been carried out under these difficult circumstances by the Anouar Association hope that the country will pass the time of the pandemic with minimal damage by intensifying the efforts of all the actors in the councils.
